Educators are Co-Learners
Our Educators are dedicated to understanding and developing a strong relationship with each child. Educators are considered researchers, co-learners and collaborators. They facilitate each child's learning by planning inspiring invitations, provocations, activities and lessons based on the child's own natural curiosities and interests. The Educator asks questions and is an active mutual participator in every activity. Working respectfully and closely with parents/carers towards a shared purpose.
OUR CLASSROOMS
A unique space for the unique child.
Children love beautiful and interesting things, so we carefully crafted a space full of them, to provoke joy, spark curiosity and be the canvas for creativity.
We have an atelier, light projectors, microscopes, natural materials and a dedicated sensory and investigation space but what really makes our space a little bit different is our sense of community.
The relationship between the eductors, the child and their family is a key part of nursery culture. Our community spirit is fostered through effective communication pathways, our skill sharing programme and regular community events such as stay and play sessions, read alongs and child performances.
We also access the wider community through organised outings and welcome expert educators to share their skills and knowledge such as musicians, artists and authors.

Founded by Loris Malaguzzi in Northern Italy, the Reggio Emilia Approach is an enquiry-based learning process, revered all over the world.
The unique child is always at the centre, where educators act as a researcher and collaborator to best enable children’s natural curiosities. Creating progressive learning through carefully crafted invitations, experiences and provocations.
The educator is an active participator in child experiences and is dedicated to developing a deep understanding of each child to best know how to support their development and unique needs. Educators produce meaningful development plans, placing value in self-expression, the child’s ideas and questions, paving the way for deep engagement and motivated learners.
The Reggio Emilia Approach believes in the ‘hundred languages’ of children to symbolise the many ways in which children self-express. Self-expression, play and creativity is the way children construct meaning, investigate theories, problem-solve, and develop skills.
Therefore, expressive arts, music and sculpture play a large role in our facility, where children explore and discover through play, creativity and self-expression. Children also have opportunities to engage in long-term projects, where they embark in extensive research at their own pace.
